Maulid Celebration

   

   hi guys, welcome back to my blog. in this occasion I will tell you about my experience during Maulid. In my boarding school for 3 days 2 nights held a celebration of the Prophet's Birthday and National Santri Day. the first day began with the opening of the bazaar and the distribution of report cards. the bazaar is in a complex competition, I got to keep the bazaar for 3 days 2 nights, tired but really fun. Various kinds of snacks are sold ranging from snacks to heavy meals and various drinks.

    On the second day, there was a national santri day ceremony and a Rodad dance competition. The event started at 06.30 which was followed by a Rodad competition which was also carried out by the complex. Rodat art is one of the traditional arts among Muslims. This art developed along with the tradition of commemorating the Prophet's Birthday among Muslims. The dances performed by the Rodats have their own philosophy, not just from dancing. The name Rodat comes from the Arabic word Rodda which means back and forth. The dancers always go back and forth in moving their hands, bodies and other body parts.

    On the 3rd day, a recitation was held which was attended by Habib Novel and also a graduation ceremony for Bilghoib and Binadzor. The event lasts until 12 noon. oh yeah and also this event is also valid for the public without any admission price. that's the experience of celebrating the birthday of the prophet at my boarding school.
